On Sunday December 13th, Junior school children (years 3, 4, 5 and 6) visited Lodnon for two days with Mr Wood, Miss Walker, Miss Davies, and Mrs Roberts. We left Talley on the Sunday at 8:00 a.m. and arrived in London in time for lunch. During the afternoon, we attended a matinee performance of the Lion King Stage show at the Lyceum Theatre which was paid for by the school PTA (£1,200). That evening, we stayed at an Education Centre on the outskirts of London. Monday morning was an early start, with breakfast being served and the bus on its way back into London at 7:45 a.m. During the morning, we were given a tour of the House of Parliament and House of Lords, and then an educational workshop was provided for the children. During this workshop, Adam Price MP met the children and answered some questions. After lunch, we visited Maddame Tussauds, where the children had lots of fun taking photographs of each other with their heroes and heroines..in wax! After a busy two days, we made our way back to Talley and arrived later on the Monday evening.

Ar Fore Sul Rhagfyr 13, gwnaethom adael Ysgol Talyllychau am 8 yn y bore ar ein hymweliad Adran Iau (Blwyddyn 3, 4, 5 a 6) i Lundain o dan oruwchwyliaeth Mr Wood, Miss Walker, MIss Davies a Mrs Roberts. Ar ol cinio gan gyrraedd Llundain, gwnaethom mynychu perfformiad llwyfan o'r sioe Lion King yn theatr y Lyceum - talwyd y tocynau gan PTA yr ysgol (£1,200). Y noson honno, arhosom ni mewn canolfan addysg ar yrion dinas Llundain. Wedi brecwast yn fuan iawn ar y Dydd Mawrth, gwnaethom gadael y ganolfan am 7:45, gan deithio yn ol at Lundain. Treulwyd y bore gan ymweld a'r Ty Cyffredin, a chynhalwyd gweithdy ar ein cyfer. Yn ystod y gweithdy hwn, daeth Adam Price (Aelod Seneddol) i'n cwrdd ac i ateb cwestiynau gan y plant. Wedi cinio, ymwelom canolfan Maddame Tussauds, ble buodd y plant wrth eu boddau yn gweld a thynnu lluniau eu harwyr gyda chamerau digidol. Ar ol deuddydd prysur a chyffrous, dechreuom yn ol am Dalyllychau, a chyrhaeddom yn ol yn hwyr ar y Nos Fawrth.
