To : Residents of Talley & Cwmdu
As you may be aware the Talley Community Amenity Association is
organising an “Open Gardens”
day to be held on Saturday, 5"‘ June 2010. We would like as many
local residents as possible to play a
part in the event.
All you have to do is to agree to allow visitors to have a look
around your garden. They will not be
allowed to enter your home. You may want to be present yourself to
guide visitors around your garden,
or you might wish simply to stay away and just allow them access.
Either way, please read the article on
page 4 of the January issue of YLlychau and give serious thought to
opening your own garden.
If you decide that you would like to participate on 5"‘ June or if
you would just like to know more about
what is involved, please come along to St Michael’s Church Hall on
Saturday, 13“‘ February at 3.00pm
for a short meeting. lf you are interested but unable to attend the
meeting, please contact either
Shelley Pike on 01558 685741 or John Rees on 01558 685459 for more
infomation.
Please support the Talley Community Amenity Association in this
activity by opening your own garden or
by visiting those gardens that will be open or both. Let’s make this
a fun social event that involves the
whole community.
