Abbey Cottages
In the heart of one of the most beautiful valleys in Wales, these stone cottages stand alongside the ruins of 12th century Talley Abbey, they are set in 30 acres of unspoilt pastureland. This is a haven for wildlife – Red kites, buzzards and other rare bird species are often seen, and an otters' hide belonging to the RSPB is tucked away in the grounds. Two lakes, one of which can be fished by arrangement, add to the beauty of this lovely corner of Wales. Each cottage is beamed throughout and all retain a host of original features. Wood burning stoves, open fireplaces and some antique furnishings are complimented by modern day facilities, all combining perfectly to provide spacious, well equipped and comfortable accommodation.
